La Roche Courbon Castel – Saint Porchaire

Private historical monument open to the public for 60 years.

The Chateau de la Roche Courbon is a family estate for 3 generations, who since his resurrection by Paul chénereau, the grandfather of the current owner, has continued to open its doors to visitors to share the passion heritage.
It is an inhabited house and living.

The site is open all year long

except december the 25th and 1st january, sunday mornings during winter, and during the week (from monday to friday) in january

Reception open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, from May 1 to September 30, from 10 am to 12  and from 2 pm to 6 pm from 1 October to 30 April.

Guided tour of the castel :

Every day, 45 minutes, except Thursday from 15/09 to 15/05.

The frequency of schedules varies according to the seasons (time: inquire at reception)

The first visit in the morning is from 11am.

Guided tour in english on thursday at 12.00 from 01/06 to 31/08

Free garden tour : Park / caves / exhibitions / area of ancient games / Museum of Prehistory
